This Is My Story
Welcome! My name is Samantha Thompson and I (like many) fell in love with horses at a young age. That passion for horses as a child eventually led to me purchasing my first horse as an adult which quickly turned into four horses and a horse property right here in East Texas. I found a particular interest in the biomechanics of the horse and how proper hoof care can achieve optimum performance and quality of life for our equine friends.
From there I learned the importance of a balanced and healthy hoof. I feel passionate about the work I do and providing clients in the Longview, Marshall, and Tyler area with the best service possible. Continuing education is also very important to me as I know it allows me to bring the most up-to-date techniques, research, and technology to my clients and their equine friends.
I take pride in my work like most, but it’s the joy and fulfillment I experience when I see my work help a horse that made me fall in love with this profession. Whether it’s helping a horse perform it’s best in the show ring, providing routine hoof maintenance, treating a lameness issue, or simply getting the horse comfortable, every job is important. If you want a farrier with passion, drive, reliability, and an appreciation for the horse itself, you’ve found them.
I purchased a small farm outside of Longview, Texas where I now care for my four mustang mares, three donkeys, and six rescue dogs. My roots are firmly planted in East Texas! I proudly offer services in Longview, Marshall, Tyler, and the surrounding area.
My mission is simple: Provide reliable service and quality care to create a balanced and healthy hoof.
